ABORIGINAL WUNDA SHIELD

Early rare example of the concave face pandle design from the Gascoyne / Murchison Rivers Western Australia.  Widely associated with men's cults, rituals and ceremonies, this shield held in high regard as a traditional trade item.  Beautiful, large, wide, old type.  Length 71cm (28 inches) width 18cm (7 inches).  Custom made display stand included.
